FAQs
Is debt collection legal in the UAE?
Yes. Debt collection is a legitimate business practice in the UAE. We operate strictly within the legal framework provided by the UAE Central Bank and federal laws, ensuring all recovery processes are ethical and compliant.
What areas of the UAE do you cover?
While we are based in Dubai, we provide comprehensive debt recovery services across all seven Emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
What types of debt do you handle?
We manage a wide range of debt categories, including: Commercial (B2B): Unpaid invoices, trade debts, and contract breaches. Consumer (B2C): Personal loans, credit card debts, and rental arrears. Legal/Judgment Debts: Debts already backed by a court order.
How do you evaluate the chances of recovery?
We use advanced Credit Threat Evaluation and Repayment Capacity Forecasting. By analyzing the debtor’s financial health and local assets, we provide you with a realistic probability of recovery before we even begin the process.
Do you offer “No Win, No Fee” services?
We often operate on a contingency basis, meaning our success is tied to yours. If we don’t recover your funds, you don’t pay a collection fee. Note: Please contact us for a detailed breakdown of our fee structure.
Will your process damage my relationship with the client?
Not necessarily. We prioritize professional mediation and “Soft Collection” techniques first. Our goal is to recover your funds while maintaining a professional bridge, though we can escalate to firmer legal measures if the debtor remains uncooperative.
When do you involve legal action?
Legal action is typically the last resort. If amicable settlements fail and our risk assessment shows the debtor has the means to pay but refuses, we coordinate with our legal partners to initiate court proceedings in the UAE.
How long does the recovery process take?
Every case is unique. However, most amicable settlements are reached within 30 to 90 days. Complex legal cases or “bad debt” recovery may take longer depending on the court schedule and the debtor’s location.
How do you handle debtors who have left the UAE?
We have a global network of partners. If a debtor has absconded from Dubai, we utilize international skip-tracing and cross-border recovery services to track assets and negotiate settlements in their new location.
